DTT Members Are Happy Because...
We entered a long position in MasterCard Inc (NYSE: MA) on April 3, 2008 @ 230.43. Early yesterday, we sent an Earnings Alert to members to give them a heads up with regard to this mornings scheduled earnings release. We let members know that we intend to hold through earnings, but that they should consider exiting if they weren't comfortable taking on the earnings risk.
The result? A HUGE gap to the upside at the start of today's session, followed by strong continuation after the open. We are currently sitting pretty with a gain of approximately +18%, and we are NOT taking profits yet!!
